The glassware production process mainly includes:
raw material processing. The crushed raw materials (quartz sand, soda ash, limestone, feldspar, etc.) are crushed, the wet raw materials are dried, and the iron-containing raw materials are iron-removed to ensure the quality of the glass.
batch material preparation.
melting. The glass batch material is heated at a high temperature (1550-1600°C) in the tank kiln or pool furnace to form a liquid glass that is uniform, free from bubbles, and conforms to the molding requirements.
molding. The liquid glass is put into a mold to make a glass product of a desired shape, such as a flat plate, various vessels, and the like.
heat treatment. Through annealing, quenching and other processes, eliminate or generate internal stress, phase separation or crystallization of the glass, and change the structural state of the glass.
